Dr. Matt Kaufman
Dr. Matt Kaufman was born and raised in Los Angeles. He completed his undergraduate studies at Washington University in St. Louis and attended the UCLA School of Dentistry, where he earned his Doctorate in Dental Surgery, graduating Magna cum Laude. Among the awards he has received include the Academic Award from the Alpha Omega dental fraternity, the Certificate of Merit from the Pierre Fauchard Academy, and individual Awards of Excellence from the endodontics department, fixed prosthodontics department, periodontics department, oral medicine and facial pain department, and department of public health and dentistry at the UCLA School of Dentistry.
Dr. Matt resides in Playa Del Rey with his wife Lauren, his dog, Comet, and his cat, Stormy. Matt and his wife are very involved with Camp Cocker Rescue where they have been fostering dogs for over 3 years. He enjoys cycling, DIY home projects, Sailboat Racing, and talking about cars. Dr Matt is dedicated to providing the best patient experience while getting to know more about his patients than just their mouths.
Fun Fact: Dr. Matt’s Father as well as his maternal grandfather were both dentists. That makes Dr. Matt a 3rd generation dentist. Dentistry is certainly in his blood!!
